Glam Girls Movie Night Hes Just Not That Into You

I rented "Hes Just Not That Into You" the other night, having not been motivated enough to see it in the theater. Based on the book by Sex and the City writer Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo, the movie regales all the ways in which women fool themselves about the men they date/live with/marry. The movie interweaves the stories of various characters around the story of the narrator, Gigi (I know, it took me a while to be comfortable with that, tehee!), whose love life is in all kinds of shambles as she keeps searching for the one guy who actually IS into her. Long story short, the movie is a bit clunky in the beginning and never quite reaches brilliance, but it makes for a nice movie night... with other GIRLS. The male persuasion may well be quite pissed off with the movie during the first half, which may, to some, seem like a cynical, unfair portrayal of the less-fair sex. I know that I certainly wish Id seen it with girlfriends, instead of whiny boys :P Apart from Ginnifer Goodwins hair (was that a wig or is the poor child really so cursed?!), I ended up liking the movie quite a bit. 4 Glam Stars.

Glam Ads Emma Watson for Burberry

Little Hermione has blossomed into such a lovely young lady! She is the face of the Burberry Autumn/Winter 2009 ad campaign. The photos were shot by famed photographer Mario Testino at Horseferry House in Westminster. Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey said Emma was "the obvious choice" for the campaign, having "a classic beauty, a great character and a modern edge."

The campaign will hit the pages of the major fashion magazines September issues.

Glam Plus Curves Ahead at V Magazine

V Magazines January 14th special "Size Issue" will feature a gorgeous spread of 5 plus-sized models — Candice Huffine, Marquita Pring, Michelle Olson, Tara Lynn and Kasia P. — titled "Curves Ahead". Shot by celebrated Norwegian photographer Sølve Sundsbø, the models wear clothes and shoes by Gucci, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, and Sergio Rossi, just to name a few, and in one shot, nothing at all except for a pair of glittery Dior sandals.

Considering that the majority of non-model women, not just in the US but around the world, are not size 00s, 0s and 2s, its a breath of fresh air and sends a clear message to embrace whatever size you are and declares that you dont have to dress in a mumu, just because you dont wear a sample size.

Glam Fun Color Your Own Dress

The Dutch come up with the coolest things! Berber Soepboer sells a black and white dress which comes with its own fabric markers for you to color it into whatever colors you want. It comes in 4 sizes and costs €238 (roughly $340). Talk about a fab gift to give a Glam Girl who has everything! Santa, next Xmas?

Green Glam BlueQ Shopper Bags

Im sure all of you are already bringing your own, reusable bags to the grocery store to do your part in keeping this planet alive. Most of the bags available for purchase are either ugly or expensive — cute and affordable dont seem too easy to find, right?

I ran across BlueQ bags a few weeks ago. Theyre made from recycled materials (plastic water bottles!), theyre sturdy, and adorable to boot. Whats more, 1% of sales fund programs of The Nature Conservancy worldwide. They come in a few different sizes, the shoppers and totes being most handy. Ive taken mine to the store, to the flea market, to the library, and I plan on taking the Beach bag to... the beach, if summer ever comes :D
