GNO Wrapping Party!

GNO Wrapping Party!

My friend, Kate, of And Everything Sweet has done it again. This girls creative mind just doesnt stop! She came up with the brilliant idea of having a Girls Nite Out Wine and Wrap.... how much fun!

Gather a few girlfriends together, display some of your favorite wrapping supplies, throw in a little wine and VIOLA! You have a fantastic excuse to get together and youll get a lot accomplished, too.

What I love most about Kates display is how she took the familiar "dessert table" and created a WRAPPING TABLE. In fact, she took Amandas Parties To Gos CANDY CHRISTMAS printables set and created her own labels for the table using the blank tent cards that come with the set. Using glass apothecary jars, cake plates, topiaries, and platters, Kate turned ordinary wrapping supplies into an adorable party table.

There are so many great ideas here, so Ill just let the photos do the talking.

Im so in love with Kates gift box topiaries.
What a fun, easy and inexpensive idea for any holiday party table!

The backdrop is adorable but such a simple concept to re-create. Using a rolls of wrapping paper, Kate adhered them red/white dot wrap to the wall in two strips and then covered the seam with the lime green dot paper cut as strips of ribbon. Add a store-bought bow and youve made a stunning backdrop in no time at all.

How cute is this! Display ordinary supplies just as you would cake pops or other dessert treats.

Tags from the CANDY CHRISTMAS collection were printed,
cut and ready for all of Kates friends to use to wrap gifts.

Thank you so much, Kate, for sharing your creativity and wonderful ideas with us!
Now I must go wrap some presents!

Guest Post Monster Party Tutorials

Guest Post Monster Party Tutorials

Hi! Its Kristyn from Lil Luna! Amanda posted yesterday about my little one,
Gavins Monster Birthday party.

So much fun stuff went down at that party
and I couldnt have done it without Amanda!

Shes the best, and was my biggest helper!

With her Monster Bash Party Collection I was able to make some fun, easy and cute crafts for the party including Party Hats and Party Bags.

They were simple to do.

For the PARTY BAGS all you need is:

-Paper Bags
-Monster Parts
-Glue Sticks

From there you can just let the kiddos do the rest, by letting them pick out their monster parts and gluing it to their bags. Not only were the bags super cute, but they were perfect for catching all the fun goodies and candy that came from the Monster Pinata we had.

For the PARTY HATS all you need is:

-Party Hats
-Hot Glue Gun
-Monster Parts
-Crepe Paper
-Sewing Machine

1. Begin by taking one or two (I used two) strips of crepe paper and sew a straight stitch down the middle. Some machines will ruffle it on its own, but mine doesnt, so I was sure to leave the stitch open at the end. From there, you pull one string and scrunch it as you go, which ruffles the crepe paper.

 2. From there you can hot glue the crepe paper all around the bottom of the party hat and glue on your monster parts.

Easy and Cute!!

And lastly you can make this super cute
GOOGLE-Y-EYE Frame!

All you need is:

-Wood frame
-Foam Brush
-Google-y Eyes
-Hot Glue Gun
-Paint

1. Paint your frame and let dry.

2. From there you will hot glue the eyes all over the frame.

Another easy but fun thing to do.

What Ive learned is its all in the DETAILS!
Simple but cute things like these can make a party FABULOUS!

Thanks again Amanda for helping to make such a fun and memorable party for my little monster!

XO - Kristyn
