GINGER AND LEMON CONCOCTION

4 oz piece of fresh root ginger
600ml of water (2 ½ cups)
Juice and rind of one lemon
Pinch of cayenne pepper

Begin by cutting the ginger root into thin slices (no need to peel), mix all the ingredients together in a pan with the water and begin to boil, cover the pan for 20 minutes and remove from heat.
